Blog Talk - 10/10/2007

As of today, the blogs are doing pretty nicely. Top Bloggers Blog did better today because of a few uniques who clicked my name in a comment on Pro Blogger. Those five visitors have inspired me to start commenting more on popular blogs, I figure it will help spread the word and maybe get me noticed in the blogsphere.

I'm hoping to see at least 20 uniques for each blog tomorrow. I have decided to continue using digg, stumbleupon, and plugim for social bookmarking, but I will incorporate Dzone into that. I have some friends willing to help boost me to the front page, which may guarentee 20-100 unique visitors on its own. Keeping that a daily trend for each blog may prove to be a great move.

Also, I'm going to become more active on digg and stumbleupon. I feel I've been using them and giving back to the communities. I think taking about 30 minutes out of my morning and 30 minutes out of my night will prove to convince my over 400 friends to perhaps scratch my back, since I scratched their's.

In the near future, I'm also going to start intense campaigns on MyBlogLog and maybe even Bumpzee. Its important to use those social sites to increase popularity and get the word out. Of course more, getting traffic from those sites is much more difficult than from bookmarking sites, however, its more quality and targeted traffic than digg and stumbleupon.

The future looks bright and I've brought my sunglasses!

Blog Talk 10/9/2007

Considering the fact that these blogs are brand new, both less than a week old, I think 16 and 17 unique visitors each is a good thing. As of now, the only publicizing I'm doing is daily submissions to digg and stumbleupon. I plan to try and become active on Netscape's Propeller and perhaps a smaller social bookmarking site in the future.

I have seen a slow increase each day in traffic and I hope that continues for both blogs. Over the past few days, I've enjoyed blogging about blogging and blogging about forums. Even stranger than blogging about blogging, is blogging about my blogs that are about blogging. I hope you catch my drift with that statement.

My goals for each blog are high of course, but I'm patient and I will never give up hope on them. I've vowed myself to blog everyday for six months, no questions asked. This experiment I've created will hopefully give some new bloggers some helpful insight into the mind of a blogger and inspire them the never just stop. I've created many blogs and deleted many blogs, all because of stupid mistakes. Now I've corrected those mistakes in my blogging and I've become a more informed internet user and a better writer.

Hopefully tomorrow when I make another post, I can give some good news on the latest blog traffic.

The Six Month Experiment Begins

I've created this blog in order to keep a documented source of my blogs' stats and transformations. As of this moment, I have two active blogs. One is called Make Money Online with Forums and the other Top Bloggers Blog. Both are of course blogs that teach people about making money, but particularly with forums and blogs. However, its not all about money, there are many useful posts teaching new and seasoned webmasters how to improve themselves.

I'm looking to start more and more blogs, some that I post on daily, some that are posted on only once every 2-3 days. I will explain more about this experiment I'm doing and why its important to me in my next post. I find myself to be a very procrastinating person, hopefully this experiment will help that problem and make me a better blogger and webmaster than I already am.

Tomorrow I will begin a strict regimen of posting daily on this blog, discussing my stats and my feelings about my other blogs from blogger.
